Brandon didn’t care that his week was ruined. He had driven all
morning to some doctor’s office in the middle of nowhere to sell his
company’s new pill and only be told “No,” by the doctor who, from

   It was during the drive back to Detroit that Brandon’s car broke

    “Yes. The best fix-it shop in all of Ohio,” said the gray haired
woman, “He has himself his own tow truck, too!”
    Brandon sighed, “Well, fantastic! I just happen to need one of
those too!”
    “Why you wearing that fancy suit young fella?” asked the old man.

    Brandon looked at the old couple before answering, “I sell
vitamins, sir.”
    “Vitamins! Well no shit there Brandon! Me and the missus here
were just talking about getting healthy! Got a sample you can spare?”
Asked the old man.
    Brandon felt his suit pocket, “Why yes sir! I happen to have a
four-day pack of women’s vitamins I can give your wife!” He handed
the foil pack to the old lady; someone who could have been sexy
twenty years ago. “Now Edith, this is strong stuff. Please only take
one right now.”
   
Ten minutes later, the old couple had dropped Brandon off at the
garage and then pulled into the motel across the street. Brandon
pretended not to notice Edith had her hand down the old man’s pants

   The rain started again as Brandon heard the old man yell, “Edith!
You haven’t blown me since our honeymoon!”

   Brandon told the mechanic where to find his car and the mechanic
told Brandon where to get a room for the night; the same motel the
